Secluded Cabin located close enough to Nashville, but far enough away!
What do you think of when you think of a vacation in Brown County? Surely hills and hollers, woods and waterways, and cozy, rustic cabins come to mind. Well, 7 Acre Legacy Lodge has all of that …and more!
This beautiful place is located close enough to downtown but far enough away to let you enjoy all the beautiful sights and sounds of nature. As you drive up the private lane, you will see what all of the fuss is about! Surrounded by woods and situated at the edge of a private pond, you will see the cabin ahead, begging you to come in and stay a while!
As you enter the home, you will instantly love the rustic décor! To your left is the cozy living room. It is filled with overstuffed furniture that is perfect for a snuggly family movie night or a cuddle with your special someone. Maybe you would prefer spending a quiet evening out on the front porch enjoying a glass of wine while you watch the wildlife meander in and out of the scenery? Breathe in the fresh air and sit out here as long as you like!
To the right of the front door is the fully-equipped kitchen. We have thought of everything! Bring your favorite ingredients to cook up a gourmet meal for everyone to enjoy. Perhaps you would rather grab some hamburgers or steaks and enjoy the 5 burner Char-Broil gas grill on the patio overlooking the pond!? Whatever you choose, you will be ready to make it happen in this fantastic kitchen!
The patio door here will lead you onto a covered porch with a table and lounge furniture. This is a delightful place to have meals together on warm evenings. It is also perfect for enjoying your morning coffee and a close up view of the deer who will pass by quietly on their morning visit to the pond.
Upon climbing the stairs to the upper level, it will quickly become apparent that you are going to sleep like a baby up here! The 2 rooms to the left are each furnished with a fluffy king-sized bed and each is also equipped with its own Smart TV. You will have access to Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, Discovery+, Peacock and Hulu. The 3rd bedroom, to the right, has 2 queen beds, perfect for giggling up into the night! There is also a full bathroom on this level, with a tub, and shower. New Moen shower trim makes sure that you have great water pressure, too.
In the center of this level, is an open area office space with a desk and easy chairs. This is a great place for checking in at office or, maybe engaging in some awesome gaming tactics! The high-speed internet at 7 Acre Legacy Lodge is fantastic!
Are you coming to Brown County having already planned your activities? 7 Acre Legacy Lodge is located within minutes of all the great shopping and eateries of Nashville and is close to many of the other great attractions that Brown County has to offer! However, be aware that Legacy Lodge has so much to do, you may never want to leave the property!
The lower level of the home is made just for fun! At the bottom of the stairs, a left turn will take you to the entertainment room! With a table and many board game choices, you can have hours of fun laughing, playing, and competing! There is also a sitting area with a comfy couch and a 60 inch Smart TV. Turn on the fireplace for a cozy movie night. A right turn at the stairs will take you to something a little more physically demanding-a ping pong table! How about a rousing game, anyone!? What fun!
The patio doors on this level will lead you out to a 6 person hot tub where you can relax and enjoy the scenery around you. Maybe you’ll want to take a soak at night while enjoying the open, night sky! This level of the home has another full bath with a large, walk-in shower and an open laundry area for your convenience.
The fun doesn’t end at the entertainment room. Bring the party outside! There is so much to see and do! Create some memories together around the firepit next to the pond. Perfect for roasting some S’mores! Take a hike in the woods surrounding the house. Sit on the small patio out by the pond and listen to the frogs sing you a song. There will always be wildlife around to keep you company and keep you entertained! There is provided fishing equipment here. Feel free to dip a pole in the water, which has been nicknamed “Bass Pond” for a reason. Catch and Release is appreciated. There is enough space and flat land to put together a wiffle ball game, play a game of soccer or just about anything else that you can imagine.
Whatever your fancy, chances are you will find it at 7 Acre Legacy Lodge! Bring a group of girlfriends for a weekend getaway. Or bring the kiddos out to the country for some wholesome fun and family time! This place is also perfect for a couple’s retreat! Whoever you’re planning to visit with, 7 Acre Legacy Lodge will be just right!!

Cancellation Policy
Reservations can be cancelled with no charge or penalty, except for a $50.00 cancellation fee, a full 15 days prior to the scheduled check-in date. Cancellations within 14 days or less of the scheduled arrival date will not be refunded for any reason. All cancellations must be made through the website or through email communication.
Deposit Policy
To confirm a reservation BCVR requires a nonrefundable deposit of payment equal to $50.00 to be paid at the time dates are secured and will be applied to your reservation total. Payment in full is required 15 days prior to the check-in date. BCVR will automatically charge the balance due to the original card on file 14 days prior to the check-in date. Reservations made within 14 days of the check-in date will be paid in full at the time the reservation is made.

We had a fantastic family getaway at this Airbnb in Nashville, Indiana! The cabin itself was just perfect—clean, cozy, and every bit as good as advertised. What made our stay truly special was the abundant wildlife around us. We saw turtles, snakes, crayfish, deer, and many birds right on the property. Our daughters had a great time fishing successfully in the pond, which was a memorable experience for them.
Marisa, our host, was wonderful. She was attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had, making us feel completely at ease. This stay was such a delightful escape into nature; we're already planning to do it again. Highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors with all the comforts of home.

"Great Country Cabin"
Our family had a great time at this cabin. Everything in the house was well equipped and they even set out a cute basket of eclipse themed items in preparation for our stay during the solar eclipse. Our kids loved playing in the yard and ping pong in the basement. My husband loved trying to fish in the pond, but only caught a small bluegill. Downtown Nashville is always fun too and just about 10 minutes away. We’d love to come back to this quiet retreat!

It was a wonderfully cozy, charming and comfortable cabin, perfect for four friends to get away from the chaos of the world and hide away together. We loved everything from the perfectly comfy sofa to the beautifully decorated bedrooms and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well-equipped with nice appliances, lots of pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. The coffee maker was perfect! Everything about this place was wonderful. We just wish we'd had more time to spend relaxing and escaping the chaos of life here.

"Great weekend cabin getaway"
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Love the privacy and serene setting. Pond is gorgeous and paddle boat is awesome. The fish didn't bite as good as the last time we were here but we still caught some nice sized blue gill. We will surely stay here again in the future. The personal touches and welcoming gifts/wine/food are a welcome personal touch.
Very clean, beautifully decorated and all the amenities were amazing. It has everything you could possibly need. Loved the paddle boat for our kids!

"Immaculate property in great location"
The cabin was in excellent condition with everything we needed. The check in procedure was also fantastic and it was the perfect distance from Nashville shopping and the Hard Truth Distillery. The beds were awesome and comfortable. The hot tub was clean and immaculate. We fished for two days and the pond was amazing. Very secluded and private. The paddle boat was also easy to use and perfect for a short two day vacation. We would stay here over and over.
My husband planned a guys weekend with his friends and stayed at the Legacy Lodge. The accommodations were great for them. They really enjoyed using the grill, ping pong table, fire pit, and kitchen (which was fully stocked with necessities). They brought yard games to play during their downtime. They loved the location of the lodge, which was 10-15 minutes from each of Nashville, the entrance to Brown County State Park, and BC3 disc golf course. Overall it was a great experience, and they would stay again!

Legacy Lodge was our first experience with an Airbnb and it couldn’t have been better! Legacy Lodge is a hidden gem tucked away among nature and is an amazing and peaceful place to stay.

"Brown County mountain bike weekend"
My friends and I stayed for a trip to ride the mountain bike trails at Brown County State Park. This house was ideally located with both the trails and restaurants in Nashville being a very short drive away. The house was nice, comfy, and had all of the amenities we needed. I would definitely be willing to rent this house again for our next trip.

We rented this cabin for my son's IU graduation so that our family of five would have somewhere comfortable and relaxing to stay together. It was just wonderful! The 17 mile drive to Bloomington made for an easy trip to visit IU and get to his graduation ceremony. Instead of eating out, we preferred to hang out together at the cabin and made great use of the grill and the firepit! I just loved listening and watching the birds over the small pond. The cabin is beautifully furnished and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. I was just sorry not to be able to stay longer. Highly recommended!

Hands down a beautiful place to stay! The decor is beautiful with the most cozy mattresses and pillows! We loved the fact that it is far enough out in the country to get away from everything and have complete peace and quiet yet close enough to such a beautiful little town for shopping and food!
"A Perfect Weekend with Family at a Peaceful Cabin by the Pond"
I brought my elderly mother to spen the weekend with her grown grandchildren. The location and cabin were perfect. Clean and well supplied. The most joy came from the pond. My kids all acted so young again and my mom loved watching. Plenty of frogs and morning silence. Perfect!!! We will be returning!!
We enjoyed the peace and beautiful surroundings. The cabin was very clean and loved the personal touches. Popcorn, candy, smore sticks, anything you needed was available. Very cute decor and relaxation was easily achieved. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at 7 Acre Lodge! The cabin is in a very secluded area and is super quiet and relaxing. We traveled with our kids (3 years and 8 months) and were glad to have a pack and play, kids toys, games, and lots of space to play outside and explore. The cabin had everything we needed, was clean, and very nicely decorated. We especially enjoyed the very new and sparkling clean hot tub in the evenings! We would definitely stay here again or at another of Marisa’s properties.
Loved this location and privacy. Gorgeous views. The decor was very nice and gives the space a cozy updated feel. Very comfortable. All Marissa’s properties have had very high quality linens and furniture. Love the snacks as always, great thoughtful touches. I give this property 5 stars. I will be coming back again to do more hiking and relaxing. It’s in the perfect location for solitude and hiking close by but also not a far drive for those visiting Nashville. Perfect staycation. The hot tub was nice also. Everything worked as it should.
