8 Does A Dancin’

This cabin was a wonderful and restful retreat in the woods, just the thing we were looking for. It is a very quiet location which we were grateful for. There were a ton of things to do on the property what with a hot tub, game room, and private pond! Marisa was an excellent and helpful host, always very responsive. The cabin was incredibly clean and comfortable, and you can tell that a lot of thought has been put into making it as welcoming to guests as possible!

We booked this house for a couple days, last minute spring break get away. The house was exactly has pictured and felt even more like home than the pictures. The kids and dog loved running around the property, exploring the woods. The property was a secluded get away but close enough to the state park, Nashville, and family in town. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We would come back to this property multiple times a year if schedules allowed.

We loved everything about this cabin. It was perfectly cleaned and perfectly stocked. We only need to bring ourselves and our food for the week. The coffee bar is an extra plus along with the bakery treats, dog treats and Hershey's kisses. The peace and quiet was exactly what we were looking for. We will be back.

"Relaxing Getaway"

The cabin and property exceeded expectations for our two-day getaway! Upon arrival we were greeted with a lovely welcome gift of fresh pastries, a coffee bar, a beautifully decorated cabin for the holidays! The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils that allowed us to stay in and cook. In addition, the cabin is located about 10-15 minutes from a variety of restaurants if you want to venture out. We had a slight issue with operating the hot tub that was quickly taken care of by Marissa and Tina. This will definitely be a property we’ll return to on our next visit!

What a great place! The description and photos don’t do it justice. This was the perfect place for a quick getaway - can’t wait to go again! Marissa thought of all the small touches that make for an easy and comfortable stay.

We loved Marisa’s place! Also, it was perfect for our dog, plenty of spaces to roam around d outside and lots of nice touches for a dog (she found the dog toy box on her own). Cabin is very cuter. We enjoyed the hot tub and game room. Would highly recommend.

A wonderful place for a getaway! My wife and I couldn’t have been happier. It’s a quiet bit of nature, but enough to keep you busy for days.

We only stayed one night but had a blast. The property is beautiful, peaceful and offers plenty to keep you busy and relaxed. The dog was able to run free and my son got a few lessons on pool. This location is a perfect mix of being remote but close to Brown County activities. Thanks for sharing your property we will be sure to return!

The hot tub was amazing hot and clean. The scenery was beautiful everywhere u look it was full of nature. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. Plenty of clean towels. The sun room is amazing no matter the weather outside. Was clean and cozy would definitely stay here again.

Property is as presented online. Views of nature from every room. So nice that it’s pet friendly too. You might want to bring food. We found many restaurants in town were only open Wed or Thur to Sunday. Since we visited Sun to Thur, there weren’t many dining options. This was the second time we stayed at the property and we recommend it.

I wish I lived there. The property is amazing with plenty to keep you entertained. My pug loved it, too. I stay at airbnbs fairly often, and this was one of my all-time favorites.

We had a brief but delightful stay. We were incredibly impressed by all of the entertainment options and amenities. We wanted for nothing! The condition of the cabin is excellent - it looks new and spotless. We will definitely be back for a longer stay!

We had such a great time at this cabin! Getting there was easy. We really appreciated the well- placed signs letting us know where to go. Secluded cabins in the woods are not always so easy to find! The communal area has a great open floor plan, and it’s really nicely decorated and super clean. The kitchen is very nice with plenty of counter space, and it’s stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. The enclosed porch in the back is fantastic. It’s huge and comfortable and very relaxing. The rocking chairs and porch swing on the front porch are very comfortable. We saw lots of deer while sitting on the front porch. The bathrooms are nice, clean, and well-stocked, and the beds are comfortable. The game room is really great too! What a neat idea! Marisa was very responsive, explained everything clearly, and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay. Very generous hospitality - very clean, decorated too cute and relaxing, love the separate game room. We have stayed in several cabins in Brown Co and this is one by far is one we will return to. Thank you for all the accommodations!!

"Just perfect"

As soon as we passed through the gate, this place took our breath away and just kept doing it. The natural scenery is amazing, and the home interior is beautiful. Right after going inside we were greeted with pastries, eggs, AND fruit. We normally pack heavy (toiletries, herbs, spices, etc.), but the property had all we needed and more. The whole location is secluded, peaceful, and all that we had hoped it would be. We were out of range of food delivery from the nearby restaurants, but that didn’t bother us at all. Nashville is only 14 minutes away. If you come at the right time of year the nearby woods are packed with things to forage —hickory nuts, dittany, black walnuts, acorns, beech nuts, and more. (If you have kids the location would be perfect to explore, inspect and identify all the amazing flora here!) We’re already thinking about our next visit. It was great.

This property was absolutely amazing. Clean and beautiful. There were so many fun things to do! The game room was awesome. We also enjoyed the hot tub tremendously. The back porch was beautiful, and so was the fire pit. The pond is very peaceful. Marisa was so helpful, and made sure everything was perfect. We had fruit waiting for us, home-made bread, and delicious cinnamon rolls with icing. There was also a bottle of wine. We plan to return next year when it is much cooler outside to enjoy the gorgeous fireplace in the house, and the other fun outdoor activities. It was also a huge bonus to be so close to Nashville Indiana and visit all the shops. We would highly recommend this great getaway that has something fun for everyone to do.

We had an amazing stay over the 4th of July! The customer service and easy communication with the property manager were excellent. The thought put into renter’s needs is over-the-top in this luxury cabin. We are looking forward to our next stay!

Great little cabin in the woods. The cabin itself was beautiful. We enjoyed an indoor fire, the hot tub, and the game room throughout our stay. the drive into Nashville was easy and the views were great. definitely would like to come back with just my wife for an unplugged getaway.

Management let us get into the property early which was a huge help. We stayed Wed to Saturday. The cabin and game room are immaculate. We wanted nothing. (They even had a salt lick for deer and birdseed.) If you are looking for cleanliness and beauty this is the place. If you've forgotten anything I would say they probably have it. The only din we can give is the upstairs shower was extremely small and the water pressure in that shower was sparse. In saying that we still say we would stay there again. Thanks so much for letting us make fantastic memories!

My family and I enjoyed our visit to Nashville, IN. The cabin was extremely clean and well-stocked. The decor inside was all set for St. Patty's Day. We enjoyed the baked treats and spent plenty of time in the game room. Would definitely recommend to friends who want to visit the area.

An amazing place to stay for a vacation! The place is full of thoughtful touches and the host was always responsive and helpful to my questions. Game room, hot tub, and sun room all amazing! We also went some a few amazing hikes in the area and went out to a delicious meal 20 min away. Great location. Very private.

I’ve stayed in many AirBnBs over the years and across the country. Marisa’s place and her as a host were THE BEST! She has literally thought of everything- we could have showed up empty-handed and still had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend. 5 ladies gathering for the first time since college thoroughly enjoyed the home, hot tub, game room, and fire pit. We hope to make this a yearly thing at 8 Does Dancing.

This cabin has been the best accommodations we've stayed in, and we VRBO a lot! We are for sure coming back...maybe even once a season! While there, I tried to convince my husband to let me host Thanksgiving for my little family there! You paid attention to every possible detail...from the kitchen, to the gameroom, to having robes and towels for the hot tub, fishing poles, a stocked fireplace, and lots of board games. Oh....and the beds! So comfortable, and I have already been on Amazon looking to buy those pillows! We were so floored by the place that we called our best friends to come stay with us one night since it was just me and my husband. After their visit...my husband and her husband are already in production of building a shuffle board table like the one in the game room! We could have spent DAYS in the gameroom, and we even took pictures so we could try to recreate some of it at our home. The dog bed and toys brought tears to my eyes, and I wished that we hadn't left our pooch at home!

The cabin was beautiful and inviting. We arrived to a selection of baked goods making us feel welcome. The area was beautiful, watched the squirrels playing from the balcony off the main bedroom. After a comfortable sleep, we woke to enjoy the coffee bar! Marisa is an excellent host!

This place was perfect! The location is an easy drive to Nashville and well worth it for the privacy and peaceful wood setting. Everything you could need was there. The path to the lake is nice, the game barn has plenty of fun games to play whether you're an adult or a kid. The hot tub was very big and really nice. Overall, one of the best places I have stayed!

8 Dancing Does was just what we needed and so much more! Everything was thought of! From the crazy comfy beds to the beautiful views and décor. Hot tub and huge gameroom were a bonus. All done up for Christmas it was truly a magical time with all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. Truly secluded yet so safe and secure as well. We always use Marisa and will continue to do so!
