The place was exactly as described . Marisa was extremely helpful and did a great job of communicating. One of the best hosts we've had. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for a peaceful long weekend away. It was a quick and easy 15-20 min drive into downtown Nashville for the shopping, restaurants etc. Also some fantastic hiking within 30 mins. Would absolutely recommend Marisa's place and would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay a beautiful place to stay. Close enough to Brown County State Park and shops in Nashville Indiana. We loved Grillerz in Nineveh and Hard Truth in Nashville along with a plethora of other places in Nashville shops area. We were missing a hair dryer and Marisa had one delivered the next day to the house. Above and beyond!

This was an amazing property with beautiful views from the atrium of woods and nature! Secluded and quiet, but also just 20min from Nashville IN. Communication with property manager was great! Highly recommend as one of the nicer log cabins in this area to stay in. We loved our time here!

This cabin was outstanding and exactly as shown and listed and was truly perfect for our getaway! We loved it and highly recommend it. It was so peaceful and quiet, very clean, comfortable, well-stocked, and well-furnished. Marisa is an exemplary host ~very prompt and easy to communicate with. Check-in was a breeze. We would absolutely, without hesitation stay here again!

Communication was great from the owner. Hot tub worked very well. Kitchen was stocked with every pot/pan/utensil you can think of. Gas grill was in great working order. Great air conditioning throughout the cabin. Property was very clean and in good condition- no complaints whatsoever.

Marisa was a wonderful host. Great communication before and during our stay. The Cabin is fantastic with great amenities. The sun room was a great place to hang out and enjoy the peaceful view of the property. The deck is great for grilling, chilling and outdoor dining. The cabin has a great open concept for hanging out with family and the lower lever has ping pong, pool table, air hockey and an awesome hot tub. Marisa left some sweet treats for us upon arrival. The cabin has great privacy and was the perfect setting for our annual get away with Grandma. Don't hesitate to book it.

This home was perfect. Clean and very well stocked. Loved the water feature. Quiet! Perfect place to unwind in the Atrium. It was blissful when it rained and we watched through the glass. It had so many places to relax. Each level has a bedroom and bath, so it’s like a master suite on each floor. Perfect for three couples!! Or two couples and the kids upstairs. Thoughtfully have gates for the stairs. It kept our puppy on the same floor as us. Went into Ninevah and ate at Grillerz. It was wonderful to find delicious food in a tiny town! You won’t regret staying in this home. Marisa was extremely nice and helpful.

We were driving from Chicago to Nashville, and after researching midpoint places to spend the night, we found this lovely home on Airbnb. It is such a gem! The home looks just like it does in the pictures, although the sunroom is probably one of those rooms where pictures cannot do it justice. It is the most peaceful place to have breakfast. We were not there very long, but we loved it and would love to return when we have longer to explore.
The communication was OK outstanding, and we felt very welcomed. Definitely a 5 Star place.

We came with a family of four and our dog and the place was superb. A beautiful cabin, quiet and nestled within the woods. Lots of room, spacious bedrooms and clean bathrooms. The outdoor seating areas (firepit, hammock, etc) are great for relaxing and enjoying nature. The hot tub and pool table and fusbal were big hits with the kids. Host was so gracious and helpful and responded lightening fast when I had a question. Highly recommend and will be coming back again soon.

We enjoyed the cabin and the scenery...a perfect place for a weekend to relax and recharge.

Communication with Marisa was top notch! The property was spotless. The accommodations were aMaZiNg, except the pull-out sofa downstairs. I strongly don't recommend it for anyone with back problems, or arthritis, as it sleeps like a 1" thick foam pad on 1' thick springs (I drew the short straw.) The drive to civilization was a minium of 10-15 minutes which the four of us enjoyed immensely, but "fast-paced" city folk may or may not enjoy. We had neighbors, but they were "country neighbors" - Heaven! Marisa left us welcome snacks and fresh eggs (thank you, again!) which was a very nice, and unexpected touch. If you can't find a place to sit, inside or out, then you aren't even looking. There was plenty of practical/comfortable, lounging, and any other kind of seating that you could ever want, both on the decks and in the home. We 110% appreciated the extremely efficient air conditioning (in the 90°+ heat). The back-up generator came on immediately when the power flashed on and off a couple of days. (There was a snafu with the power on our second day that rectified itself, and Marisa IMMEDIATELY sent someone to reset the hot tub (per the instructions to follow in the book, in case of a power outage). There's PLENTY to do in the area. We THOROUGHLY enjoyed our stay at Acre Ridge Cabin, and have already discussed the idea of returning this fall! 15 out of 10 - Highly recommend!! What a great place! Such a wonderful setting. The nature and cabin, not to mention the Atrium lend to releasing from your day to day life and enjoying time with those you love. Would love to come back.

We stayed from 5/12 - 5/17. To say that our stay was peaceful is an understatement. The property is secluded. There are two houses within earshot, and we never heard a single noise from either house. There might have been 10 vehicles per day to pass by on that road. The experience was exactly what we were looking for/needed. The only negative item that we could find in other people's reviews, was about the mattress in the master bedroom. I hated the mattress, but my wife absolutely loved it. She literally said this morning (days later) that she misses that bed. Everyone has a different preference, so please don't let that scare you off. The atrium (glass room) was excellent for the rainy days and cool mornings. We enjoyed the peace most of all.

We really enjoyed our stay at this "log cabin" in the woods of Brown County. Family in town for graduation from Indiana University. VERY peaceful and secluded area. Close to downtown Nashville, IN with so many places to visit and Hard Truth Distillery & Restaurant. Cabin was everything described on the website. Loved the sun room. Would definitely recommend this location for a relaxing getaway.

Gorgeous home that is even nicer than the photos. Everything was well stocked and very clean. We took advantage of the hot tub, gym, multiple decks, sun room, game room, and beautiful kitchen and grill. There is so much to do at the house you really don’t need to leave. We were able to instacart some items we forgot, which I wasn’t sure if we’d be able to do. Plenty of hiking nearby - even a nature preserve within walking distance. There was a level of preparation and effort put into the house before our arrival that I haven’t often seen. Very impressed.

I rented with a group of friends for my birthday. We had an amazing time and the cabin was beautiful. We adored the glass sun room for our breakfasts and as a space to do some yoga. The location was quiet and peaceful. Everyone felt right at home. Whatever sheets she uses for the upstairs bedroom felt amazing to sleep on, plus the natural light was beautiful.

The only thing we struggled with was where to find the hot tub light…we found it on the last day of being there! She did say that they were by the front door in the instruction manual, but we didn’t think to look by the coat rack. We just looked at the one directly by the door.

All in all, a fabulous time and I would totally go back!

This is a beautiful cabin, it feels homey and comfortable. The sun room is adorably decorated! That was my favorite spot every morning. We loved the kitchen table and the round table in the sunroom for playing games. There was good coffee and we cooked a wonderful dinner in the kitchen which was very easy to use. Marisa was quickly responsive and nice. I loved that she offered a service of picking up our preordered groceries and put it all away for me!! It made this trip relaxing instead of a chore.

I was very pleased with this wonderful secluded cabin. It wasn't very far from the shops in brown county and it's not far at all from a strip/outlet mall. There are some neighbors around but far enough away that it felt private. The house was spotless and the hostess had some very thoughtful welcoming gifts waiting for us in the kitchen that I've never seen my other hosts have before. There were activities for all ages and everyone had a wonderful time. The hostess was also very reesponsive to my messages I was sending while we were staying at the cabin and was very understanding when I told her that I had forgotten to pay for firewood that we ended up using, which made me feel even better about her because she respected the fact that accidents happen which I truly appreciated. I raved about the cabin even after we came back home and I hope to stay here plenty more times!

Beautiful cabin. So peaceful and relaxing. So many things to do at the cabin you don’t have to even leave during your stay as long as you take food! Would absolutely recommend and would love to return.

We absolutely loved our family getaway at this location. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The home was cozy and quiet with lots of together-time activities. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen as a family, and star gazing out the sky lights at night, and several games of pool in the basement. The surrounding woods were so serene. Having our morning coffee sitting out in the atrium just chatting away was our favorite part. This home encourages connection as a family and sparked us dreaming of building a home like it ourselves someday. We enjoyed movie nights comfortably by the fireplace, and the whole family found the beds to be restful. The charm of real hardwood floors, the cabin feel, charming decor, and the heated toilet seat in the master bath made every part of our memories of our stay feel warm, homey and relaxing. Thank you all for opening such a home for others to stay and enjoy, relax and rest.

A great cabin for myself and employees to celebrate our 9 year anniversary. Plenty of space to accommodate everyone, amenities, hot tub was great!

This was everything my son and I could have asked for in terms of a father/son getaway. Beautiful place, extremely well maintained and super comfortable. Had all the amenities you could ask for, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

We literally inquired about this beautiful cabin the morning of the intended stay and were very impressed with this property and all the amenities etc..

We built a fire in the fireplace ? , almost immediately upon arrival. We then began preparing our dinner, which included a fresh rack of lamb, scallops, lobster tail and a few other sides (All prepared on the gas grill provided) for dinner over a few drinks. The kitchen is “WELL” stocked with every cooking utensil needed and including many seasonings, oils etc…

The pool table was a lot of fun, including the hot tub as well.

This place is beautiful and exactly as described. Beautiful home on a beautiful property with great views. Hot tub was great on the cold nights.

The cabin was extremely clean, has a very well equipped kitchen that we put to good use, and comfortable furniture for lounging (that we also put to good use). The nights were cool and we spent time in the living room with the wood burning fireplace making it cozy and warm. The atrium room is one of the best features to soak up the sun even when it is cool outside. The owners would be wise to purchase new mattresses, but there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Marissa was great to work with and replied immediately to our questions. Our getaway for three retired couples who wanted to stay up late playing cards and dominoes, sleep late and then enjoy coffee around the fireplace couldn’t have been nicer.

The cabin was perfect and the owner was very responsive. Will return.

The house was wonderful and exactly what our family needed to unwind. Unfortunately, we only had time to stay one night but will definitely go back!

Gorgeous cabin- a true gem. It was almost 100 degrees and muggy while we were there so the beautiful air conditioned solarium saved the day! We played games and did puzzles while surrounded by the beauty of the woods- it was wonderful. The bedroom upstairs did get hot, but there were many fans available. We did wish there were curtains/covers for the sky lights up there, because that would have made a great kids room. We ended up putting the kids in the basement because it got darker but that limited our ability to take advantage of the awesome games. That said, if you don’t have small children, the basement is incredible. The master bedroom and bath on the main level is a dream. All mattresses could be updated, but the unbelievable views and outdoor space more than made up for it! Marissa was extremely responsive. Overall a wonderful experience with the family!!

Really enjoyed our getaway before school starts. There were cinnamon rolls and pastries on the counter for us when we arrived.

We booked this cabin for a guys weekend to get away from the daily hustle and bustle of our busy lives, and it was just that. This cabin is super quiet, very secluded, and in the woods. This cabin is set back from the street which makes you feel like you are all alone in the middle of nature. There are neighbors but they are so far away you can’t see them from the property. We grilled, drank beer, played cards, utilized the pool table, ping pong, hung out on the several decks that are off the back of the house, and had a great time. With that being said as part of the services offered, one of them is grocery drop off. I recommend bringing your own or using this service. The area that the cabin is located in is hard to navigate due to the winding roads and dense greenery. We needed our gps the whole weekend, it is hard to find your way around if your not familiar with the area. Everything seemed to be 20 min away or more. But that is what we were looking for, and we got exactly that! Thank you for letting us stay, we had a great time!!

This property is insanely gorgeous! It's a great escape from everyday living with its peaceful environment and amenities. The place made my family feel right at home. Absolutely stunning! Definitely a place we would come stay in the future! Marisa was very accommodating to our schedule.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin and loved every little thing about it. It was well worth the money and the drive to get back to it from Nashville. Marissa took extra steps to make us feel welcome and invited. The special touches left for us made the kids even more excited and leaving us in a pickle because they never wanted to leave. She thought of everything from extra towels, laundry detergent, games for the kids, blankets to snuggle in, notes on all the switches, awesome activities downstairs and 5+ different areas to eat and even more to sit and soak in the piece and quiet.
We will rent again in a heartbeat.

It is a drive from downtown but well worth it if you like the hills, silence, curves and beauty.

So peaceful. Half the fun of staying there is the drive to get to the cabin. Beautiful location. The sun room is where you will spend most of your time at the house. And it s air-conditioned (it was 94 degrees and humid). Would definitely stay there again. If you want to escape and relax this is a great place to do it.

Beautiful log cabin home in the forest with piece and quiet. Great indoor and outdoor fireplaces, equipped kitchen, grill. Loved the sunroom. Multiple decks, great hot tub and family room with pool table, air hockey, etc. Comfortable beds. This is where you get the peace and quiet you need!

We loved our time at your cabin. Not only is the cabin beautiful, the setting is so peaceful. We enjoyed our family time in the atrium, around the fireplace in the living room, on the decks, and especially outdoors by the fire pit. The kitchen was amazing and well stocked. The bedrooms and rec area were perfect. While our daughter is now graduated from IU, we all talked about having to plan a return visit. Thank you for your hospitality. We loved our stay.

My family spent 4 days at the cabin for our rainy spring break. We got in some good hikes and shopping time in between rain storms. But the cabin offered so much to do that we had a blast and the kids were occupied the whole time despite the rainy weather. The owner was very responsive and provided everything we needed in a fully stocked kitchen and house. We can’t wait to come back!

This place was amazing! Everything you could ask for when staying in a cabin! Great location, not too far away from things to do but also private where you can enjoy nights staying in. The game room downstairs was a big hit for us! We spent most of our time at the cabin, there was endless activities to do and the place was just so beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here, you will feel right at home! We were all very sad to leave. The host was very easy to communicate with and was extremely helpful and nice! She was always checking in to see if we needed anything and that everything was going smoothly! We were even greeted with some very cute and delicious St. Patrick day goodies!! Thank you for those once again! We will definitely be returning when visiting Brown County!

Great cabin in a peaceful location. The cabin had a wonderful kitchen and the space to allow for multiple gathering places. We loved the wood burning fireplace and the outdoor fire pit was another fantastic gathering place! We hope to be back soon.

We had such an enjoyable stay with friends for a long weekend. The house was spotless, well equipped with everything you would need, and the atrium was awesome! The hot tub was an added bonus! We loved everything about our stay and look forward to going back.

What a lovely picturesque home! We wish we had booked a couple of extra days to really immerse ourselves in the abundance of amenities! Marisa was so prompt with answering questions and check in was a breeze. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could ask for and everything was impeccably clean! The very winding roads getting to and fro the cabin were so beautiful, and the drive into Nashville is a good 20 minutes. Again, we only wish we would’ve booked a couple more days because this place was truly a retreat!

This was the perfect getaway for our family! The cabin was beautiful and fully equipped to hold our family of 7. We wanted nature to be our entertainment and it did not disappoint! We ditched the electronic devices and spent time outside, in the hot tub, hiking, and building fires. We stayed three nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Our kids enjoyed the ping pong table, pool table, and spent alone time in the hammock. We are incredibly grateful that we booked at Acre Ridge and we will definitely be back!

My sisters and I enjoyed our little getaway at this cabin. They had so many amenities for us and clear instructions on how to use everything. Very clean. Perfect place to escape for a quick weekend!

This cabin in the woods is rustic, well maintained, and super peaceful. Stocked with everything that you need from spices for cooking, wood for the fire pit and everything in-between. The kids had plenty of room to play inside with the pool table or outside in the hot tub and us adults had a hammock to relax in or the front porch swing to listen and enjoy the bubbling rock. We couldn’t have asked for a better quick getaway from the hustle and bustle.

We loved our time staying at the cabin, it was beautiful and all the extras were very much appreciated. We would definitely return. A great family weekend.

This was an absolutely beautiful cabin with all of the thoughtful amenities you could ask for. We had an amazing time. Our family of 5 stayed here while visiting Brown county state park for mountain biking. It is just a short scenic drive away from the park and Nashville. The hot tub and fire pit were a hit with our family as was the basement with pool table and game room. We have already said many times that this is where we would want to stay again for a trip like this in the future.

This was hands down one of the best AirBNB properties we have visited. This house HAS IT ALL. Great location, tons of space, bathrooms for everyone and extra toiletries should you forget something. Not to mention, the kitchen was perfect for cooking meals for our large group. Marisa was attentive and helpful. We would 10/10 recommend!
