Great peaceful getaway

This place is really cool. Could def see staying here in warmer weather to enjoy the lake dock, sitting areas, etc. Living space is small as described, but great for what I was looking for. Had to have a quiet space to do some creative writing so it was perfect. I'd definitely stay again.

Only a 15 minute drive to Nashville! The property is well kept. The outdoor space is perfect for relaxation and evening entertainment (projector, hot tub, and deck over water). The kitchen is well stocked. Owners were awesome!

Always a great stay when I am in the area to hike in the fall. Excellent value for what is offered, and the recent upgrades have added even more. The surroundings are awesome and very peaceful.

Me and my son really enjoyed the space. It was a wonderful little get away.

Not too often you come across something that is just right. Not over the top but definitely well above average exceeded our expectations. Everything you need for a quite get away and nothing you don’t.

A very cozy space! Wish it was warmer so we could enjoy the outdoors more but took in as much as we could. Our kids absolutely loved it!

Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Marisa was super helpful and responded to any questions within minutes. Very relaxing and we had a wonderful time fishing the lake and enjoying the scenery. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to come back.

The property is incredibly beautiful and private. This place would be a great weekend escape for any couple.

This was easily one of my favorite Airbnb stays. The house itself is small and set up like a studio upstairs, so the bed is in the same room as the dining table and kitchen (bathroom is separate, of course). The outdoor space is the best part! There is a giant covered patio with comfy couches, a hammock, and porch swing. There is a hot tub and outdoor shower, and the views of the pond and surrounding trees is amazing!

Beautiful property, will definitely return

We were looking to relax, refresh and just “be” for a few days and this retreat was the perfect place to unwind. It was like having our own private park. Located in a nice, quiet, rural, neighborhood, the property was well-groomed and more lovely and serene than photos can capture. The covered outdoor patio had many seating options to enjoy the lake views. The snug bungalow was clean, tidy and comfortable; the kitchenette, including outdoor gas grill and hot pot, made it easy to cook here — after a trip to a large Kroger about 20 minutes away, we had no reason to leave. Homemade salsa (delicious!) and chips welcome gift was so thoughtful. Did some paddle boarding (brought our own boards but two kayaks and a small boat are on site.) A perfect getaway. Greatly enjoyed our stay at this bungalow. My husband and I took a quick two day anniversary/birthday trip. The unit was exactly what we wanted. Very clean and the host gave attention to so much detail. Even had anniversary/birthday balloons above our bed. With also Delicious baked goods for us to snack on in the morning. The private lake was gorgeous and the hot tub was amazing! While we weren’t at the unit, we drove into town and enjoyed the scenery at Brown county/little Nashville. The perfect getaway for a couple and highly recommend! Definitely will be back!

Myself and an old friend (both 65+) opted for this property based on driving distance, short-term availability and features. It is a very pretty property. Rolling hills as is typical of S. Indiana. Nicely mowed and a great deal of design to minimize mud and keep the land draining into the pond. Rather secluded but not entirely out of site of any neighbors. The entire lake edge is quite walk able and most “hills’ were rather easy to navigate even for two old men. It is a modern post and metal structure. Very well built and although not “rustic” it has a good secure feeling. The inside living space is 30% of the concrete pad the structure resides on. I would not say it is roomy as it is not. It has a nice bed and an easily extended couch to sleep on. I tried both and actually found the pull-out pretty comfortable. A small bar allows two stools for eating indoors. The kitchen area although small worked well and the design is such that it is not really cramped and one could access the large fridge/freezer while another was doing dishes. I felt they have done a nice job of including what fits but not stuffing the place so full you couldn’t turn around. The bathroom was actually quite roomy. I found all utilities were working quite well and clean. No stove or oven but a decent microwave. The grill is large and clean. As to cleanliness, I felt the whole place was very well maintained and saw nothing I’d describe as dirt or grime. 70% is a very large expanse of concreted pad.

Was beautiful property. Loved the privacy it had. Is exactly the type of building and property I would like to build a retirement home. The decor was very nice and updated. I definitely will be booking this property again soon.

This property is absolutely stunning. I loved everything about it and will most definitely be back. It is very clear that the host puts a great amount of care into the property and home. I came for a much needed mental health getaway with just myself and my dog. We both had an amazing time. This was one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been too. Absolute serenity?

My mom and I had a lovely weekend at this property. There were several places to relax and watch nature, including otters! The fish follow you around the dock. Taking a break from the everyday hustle and breathing in the fresh air was nice.

We had a lovely time, very quiet and pretty. A number of things to enjoy at the bungalow but not too far of a drive from food options, Nashville, and brown county state park.

This location is so peaceful and calming. Beautiful water views and nice to have paddle boat, kayaks and life jackets to use. The hot tub looked brand new and squeaky clean !! We really enjoyed the on demand hot water outdoor shower with lovely breezes flowing through while showering. The inside is small and cozy but everything you need! The queen bed is super comfortable with the feel of high quality bedding. Super soft ! Loves having the coffee station with variety of hot drinks and creamer. We were left a yummy treat to snack on also. The communication was spot on and Marisa went above and beyond to help us with an earlier check in. So helpful!! The minute we arrived we were already talking about returning !

This space was incredible. If you are looking for a little getaway retreat, this is the perfect spot. We will definitely be coming back. Gorgeous setting, and an hour and a half from turkey run state park, which we did hike #3, highly recommend!!! From the plentiful keurig choices, to the hot tub, to the farm fresh eggs waiting for us when we got there, this was one of the best Airbnb stays any of us have ever had. Highly recommend. Worth every single penny

What a lovely time we had at this bnb! This has been one of the most accommodating hosts we’ve experienced working with. Lovely location, absolutely spotless indoors & a responsive and caring host! The bnb had every little & big amenity you can think of. This truly was such a luxurious stay at an affordable rate. Hot tub was definitely the winner! We cannot wait to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a private vacation!

Fantastic private retreat for couples!

A great experience for a reasonable price! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed kayaking, grilling, and our time in the hot tub. Marisa was a great host who provided prompt feedback and even took the time during our visit to bring us a full propane tank for the grill.

We greatly appreciate her attention to detail and her flexibility! The only thing I would recommend for any guest (if you’re visiting during the summer) is to close the door quickly when entering or leaving the main space. Bugs will enter in quickly.

Stunning property! The inside was very clean & cozy. Best night of sleep we’ve had! The outdoor shower was perfect first thing in the morning. We did not utilize the hot tub, but was a great amenity to offer. We spent most of our time fishing the pond during daylight and stargazing at night by the fire pit. We enjoyed the many coffee choices in the morning as well. Perfect for a relaxing couple’s weekend getaway. We plan to be back again soon!

Marisa was exceptionally responsive, friendly and attentive. The property is private, clean, and supremely relaxing. Our loved the fishing, he’s very particular about things like this, as he is a fishing pro - and, to top it off, my husband runs a store in Chi and he takes a while to wind down, NOT HERE ; he was swinging, hot tubing, immediately!! Indoor space is not a hindrance to us, we’re pretty simple - one of our top stays ever.

My personal favorites, that I’ve not found elsewhere: high quality outdoor sectional set + table, swing was a dream, quality hot tub area, true privacy.

I was beyond happy with our stay. Beautiful lake, fishing with boat & paddle boat, hot tub, fireplace, grill. Very cute bungalow decorated perfectly. Even had a nice little welcoming gift! Lots of games to play & all the great streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Hulu for us to watch movies. Perfect little stay for myself and 2 teenagers. Will definitely be back in the warmer months.

Marisa's place is beautiful! I stayed two nights for a relaxing getaway. It is a very small unit that felt cozy. I loved the hot tub and natural scenery. Very peaceful and quiet. I would recommend!

Wonderful get away and Marisa was the BEST!

We were searching for a short getaway while we were on Spring Break to spend some time as a family and relax. This was the perfect place. It's beautiful and the definition of relaxing. We had forgotten fishing bait and Marisa went so far as to bring them to us. We absolutely recommend this place!

It is a beautiful place, from hot tube, to a beautiful lake. The cabine reflects a lot of hard work and love put in. I haven't sleep that great in years. I hope I can go back in the summer. This cabine is a dream come true. Thank you so much for letting me stay there.

The window on the outside door by the bed had no curtains. It didn't feel very private.

If we had realized the house did not have a stove/full kitchen we would not have stayed. With that being said it was a great place and we will definitely be back.

It was a tranquil surrounding. The bungalow was clean, well-stocked and attractively decorated. Marisa was a very responsive host. I wouldn* hesitate to recommend highly.

I would give a higher than 5 rating if possible. The property was amazing - in fact, we did not want to leave. The home was spotless and was equipped with everything we needed. The host was quick to respond to any questions/ needs we had. Beautiful pond, dock, fire pit, hot tub, porch swing, hammocks……. We can’t wait to go back!

This place is super cute!!! Very very clean!!! tons of little extras, up to and including seasonal décor. It is super homey. snack, hot drinks for the Kurig, excellent towels and robes. There is a binder full of helpful information about the property and surrounding area. My only little issue was that had we not looked through the binder, we wouldn't have know we had to strip the bed and place sheets and used towels in a specific place as well as wash any dishes we used. Requesting us to do this isn't really that big of a deal, however this cabin has a pretty hefty cleaning fee and I feel like with that, there shouldn't be any requirements for clean up from the guest. Not a super big deal, just a little something that didn't sit well with me. Not sure what the consequence is for not doing the cleaning duties, as I'm sure not everyone looks through the binder to know these chores are required. Over all a super place to stay. Very close to everything we wanted to do but zero people in our space at the cabin.

This was our 2nd visit this year! After 2 nights in April we booked our return for Fall colors while having breakfast before checkout!
The peace we find here is priceless! This is definitely our go to place for a quick getaway!

The house was perfect for us! Loved watching the DVD’s that were available to us. Pulling in the lane was the best part. You can first see the decorative lights and the adorable house. The landscaping was so beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you!

This place is amazing! It is so private and secluded! We loved being able to bring our dogs and enjoy nature. The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! All of the amenities make the place everything you could ever want. The hot tub, the pier overlooking the lake, the private walking trails…a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best last minute trip we've taken!! Booked Wednesday and checked in Friday. We absolutely loved this cabin! Such a perfect setting we've already booked our return trip for October! Perfect for the down time we needed this weekend. Exceptionally clean, super cozy and everything waiting we could have needed and the added touches of snacks, water and wine were lovely! Yes the kitchen is small but perfect for making meals so we never had to leave!
We managed to start a fire and keep it going until check out! Plenty of firewood and we found starters and small branches in the woods to help. Between sleet, rain, flurries and wind we just went from fire to hot tub so to us the weather didn't matter at all!
Marisa is easy to work with and any questions were answered promptly!
Definitely our go to run away spot from now on!!

Spectacular location very beautiful . Exactly as advertised

The relaxation station was perfect for our short birthday getaway weekend to the woods! This place has everything you need. 15 minutes from downtown Nashville, IN. We stayed in most of the time: played games, hot tub, read books by the fireplace. It was perfect. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place.

A great spot to bring the pups and unwind!

Cozy and comfortable secluded cabin perfect for a romantic getaway. Cabin was very clean and the little extras (a bottle of wine and salty snacks greeted us when we arrived) were a nice touch. The kitchen is very small but we were able to cook two full meals. If you're concerned about the lack of wifi, it's not an issue. We were able to get a strong 5G connection. Short 15-20 minute drive to Nashville IN.

Perfect getaway for couples!

This was an AMAZING little piece of heaven!! Everything was exactly as promised, Marisa was quick to respond when we needed some trash bags, and it was a perfectly romantic and cozy spot for our honeymoon!!

What an adorable cabin. So much to do and enjoy. We really had a great time. The cabin was very clean and just perfect for 2 people. The response time from the host was phenomenal. We were responded to within minutes. Will definitely keep her listings in mind for the future.
