Everything about our stay was nice & easy! Communication was great. Place was cozy. Would love to come back in the fall bc I bet it is GORGEOUS!

Most rude and inconsiderate host I have ever encountered. I have never been treated with such disrespect or spied on the way she did. Literally watched us on her cameras all night. When my sister and brother in law stopped by for an hour to say hello she messaged me SO rude. I didn’t respond for 5 minutes so she calls my personal phone twice back to back and texts me demanding I answer. Now she’s trying to charge us extra fees for more guests when they didn’t even stay, lying saying we left it dirty when in all my reviews for past stays they all praise how clean I left it. I will never stay with this host again I am disgusted with how she treats a paying customer.

Marisa was exceptionally responsive, friendly and attentive. The property is private, clean, and supremely relaxing. Our loved the fishing, he’s very particular about things like this, as he is a fishing pro - and, to top it off, my husband runs a store in Chi and he takes a while to wind down, NOT HERE ; he was swinging, hot tubing, immediately!! Indoor space is not a hindrance to us, we’re pretty simple - one of our top stays ever.

My personal favorites, that I’ve not found elsewhere: high quality outdoor sectional set + table, swing was a dream, quality hot tub area, true privacy.

Cannot wait to come back 🙂

"Awesome Getaway, Reasonable Price!"

I was beyond happy with our stay. Beautiful lake, fishing with boat & paddle boat, hot tub, fireplace, grill. Very cute bungalow decorated perfectly. Even had a nice little welcoming gift! Lots of games to play & all the great streaming apps such as Netflix, Disney+, Hulu for us to watch movies. Perfect little stay for myself and 2 teenagers. Will definitely be back in the warmer months.

Marisa's place is beautiful! I stayed two nights for a relaxing getaway. It is a very small unit that felt cozy. I loved the hot tub and natural scenery. Very peaceful and quiet. I would recommend!

"Spring Break Getaway"

We were searching for a short getaway while we were on Spring Break to spend some time as a family and relax. This was the perfect place. It's beautiful and the definition of relaxing. We had forgotten fishing bait and Marisa went so far as to bring them to us. We absolutely recommend this place!

It is a beautiful place, from hot tube, to a beautiful lake. The cabine reflects a lot of hard work and love put in. I haven't sleep that great in years. I hope I can go back in the summer. This cabine is a dream come true. Thank you so much for letting me stay there.

If we had realized the house did not have a stove/full kitchen we would not have stayed. With that being said it was a great place and we will definitely be back.

It was a tranquil surrounding. The bungalow was clean, well-stocked and attractively decorated. Marisa was a very responsive host. I wouldn* hesitate to recommend highly.

Such an incredible stay! We enjoyed some great fishing, fires, relaxed in the hot tub, were able to grill out, enjoyed all the scenic views and more. So many available amenities and VERY clean 🙂 Private and peaceful, the perfect getaway. Can’t wait to return!

I would give a higher than 5 rating if possible. The property was amazing - in fact, we did not want to leave. The home was spotless and was equipped with everything we needed. The host was quick to respond to any questions/ needs we had. Beautiful pond, dock, fire pit, hot tub, porch swing, hammocks……. We can’t wait to go back!

This place is super cute!!! Very very clean!!! tons of little extras, up to and including seasonal décor. It is super homey. snack, hot drinks for the Kurig, excellent towels and robes. There is a binder full of helpful information about the property and surrounding area. My only little issue was that had we not looked through the binder, we wouldn't have know we had to strip the bed and place sheets and used towels in a specific place as well as wash any dishes we used. Requesting us to do this isn't really that big of a deal, however this cabin has a pretty hefty cleaning fee and I feel like with that, there shouldn't be any requirements for clean up from the guest. Not a super big deal, just a little something that didn't sit well with me. Not sure what the consequence is for not doing the cleaning duties, as I'm sure not everyone looks through the binder to know these chores are required. Over all a super place to stay. Very close to everything we wanted to do but zero people in our space at the cabin.

Absolutely the best last minute trip we've taken!! Booked Wednesday and checked in Friday. We absolutely loved this cabin! Such a perfect setting we've already booked our return trip for October! Perfect for the down time we needed this weekend. Exceptionally clean, super cozy and everything waiting we could have needed and the added touches of snacks, water and wine were lovely! Yes the kitchen is small but perfect for making meals so we never had to leave!
We managed to start a fire and keep it going until check out! Plenty of firewood and we found starters and small branches in the woods to help. Between sleet, rain, flurries and wind we just went from fire to hot tub so to us the weather didn't matter at all!
Marisa is easy to work with and any questions were answered promptly!
Definitely our go to run away spot from now on!!

The kitchen is very small but we were able to cook two full meals. If you're concerned about the lack of wifi, it's not an issue. We were able to get a strong 5G connection. Short 15-20 minute drive to Nashville IN.
