Tucked away on 40 private wooded acres and bordered by the Hoosier National Forest, Whitetail Woods Cabin is a peaceful sanctuary where wilderness, comfort, and quiet luxury come together. This retreat is ideal for nature lovers, couples seeking seclusion, or families wanting space to explore and connect. From the moment you pull into the long drive, the world slows down. You're surrounded by tall trees, wildflowers, birdsong, and the stillness that only deep forest can offer.
Start your mornings with coffee on the screened-in porch as mist lifts from the stocked pond just steps away. Canoes and kayaks await for paddling out into the calm water, or cast a line and try your luck with the fish. Private trails wind through the woods, offering peaceful walks among towering trees, hidden meadows, and the quiet magic of untouched land. Whether you’re watching deer graze from the treeline or listening to frogs echo at dusk, every moment here feels like it belongs to another world, one that moves at the rhythm of nature.
Inside the cabin, you’ll find a cozy and inviting space outfitted with modern comforts. The living room is perfect for movie nights, reading, or enjoying a warm drink after a day outside. Smart TVs and fast Wi-Fi are available for convenience, though many guests find themselves happily unplugged. In the kitchen, you’ll have everything needed for a home-cooked meal, and the outdoor gas grill invites forest-view cookouts on the deck. As the sun sets, light a fire in the outdoor pit and gather beneath the stars for s’mores and storytelling.
The bubbling hot tub, tucked into the trees, offers a private place to unwind and recharge. Whether you’ve spent the day hiking nearby trails, paddling across the water, or curled up indoors, the hot tub becomes a favorite spot to end the evening, with a sky full of stars above and the sounds of the forest all around you.
Whitetail Woods Cabin is more than a getaway. It’s a quiet return to what matters: connection, nature, and peace.

Great place!! My family had a great time with the campfire, making s’mores, and pudgy pies. Super close to Story and Nashville, IN. Tons of local stuff to do! The hot tub was fantastic after long days of having fun. The house was very clean and well organized. It was easy getting in and making it feel like home. We all had a wonderful time. Our dog loved it, too!
